The exhibition, titled &#8220;Fraction of a Year: Primo Movimento,&#8221; opens on November 22 and is expected to run until March 30, 2025. There are still three artists in the exhibition: Agnieska Mastalerz from Poland and Italians Ludovica Carbotta and Tomaso De Luca.  <\/p>\n<p>Scuola Piccola Zattere was founded in November by Victoria Mikhelson, the daughter of Russian billionaire Leonid Mikhelson, who serves as President of Russia Vladimir Putin A close ally of Vladimir Putin and a vocal supporter of the ongoing war in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>Leonid Mikhelson was sanctioned by the British government in 2022, and while he was not sanctioned by the United States, several companies his business supplied were. He is the founder and chairman of Russian gas producer Novatek, which supplies gas to Russia&#8217;s Sverdlov plant. The factory, which was sanctioned by the United States in 2023, produces explosives and ammunition used by Russian forces in Ukraine. He is also a major shareholder in LPG giant SIBUR. The company has been forced to reduce LPG exports due to tanker shortages caused by U.S. sanctions. According to Russian independent media company SIBUR provides materials for Russian military systems deployed in Ukraine <em>project<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Leonid Mikhelson transferred control of two of his companies &#8211; Nova, which builds gas pipelines, and logistics company Optima &#8211; to the state of Victoria in 2018, Russian newspapers reported <em>Kommersant<\/em>. Optima also owns the GES-2 House of Culture, a 585,000-square-foot contemporary art museum in the Russian capital built by the Moscow-based arts nonprofit VAC Foundation.
