On June 2, Sullivan+Strumpf opened a new, intimate studio space in Singapore\u2019s Kallang district. The project space will complement the gallery\u2019s local and international projects, showcasing works from the gallery\u2019s warehouse or previews of future exhibitions or fair presentations. <\/p>\n
Sullivan+Strumpf Singapore Studio will kick off with a presentation of work by Singaporean artist Kanchana Gupta, whose Australian solo exhibition will open at Sullivan+Strumpf\u2019s Sydney space from 15 August.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
After Gupta\u2019s exhibition, the gallery will host a solo exhibition by Spanish painter Carmen Ceniga Prado in September. In addition to intimate exhibitions, the studio will host cultural events throughout the year to support Singapore\u2019s growing art scene. The city\u2019s art scene has been growing in recent years, not least thanks to ART SG, an art fair founded by The Art Assembly in 2023 that builds on Singapore\u2019s reputation as a global financial hub. <\/p>\n
