    Kendall Jenner visits the Louvre barefoot

    Model, beauty entrepreneur and reality TV star Kendall Jenner recently uploaded photos to Instagram from her recent visit to the Louvre in Paris at midnight, when the museum is closed to the public. She was barefoot, a detail that many people highlighted on social media.

    Rich and famous stars Keeping Up With The Kardashians She has been in Paris for the past week. In addition to visiting the Louvre, she also rode a horse Fashion World performances and traveled around with her boyfriend, Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny.

    The photo uploaded to Instagram on June 26 shows Jenner standing at Paolo Veronese’s The Wedding at Cana (1563), the museum’s largest painting; sculpture by Antonio Canova Cupid’s kiss brings Psyche back to life (1787); close-up of the painted ceiling in the Apollo Gallery; wide shot of the Greek sculptures and Roman copies in the Calliatides Hall; Jenner standing barefoot on Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisanow encased in additional plexiglass; and the iconic marble sculpture Venus de Milo From the 2nd century BC.

    Other celebrities have been given special access to the Louvre before. In 2018, the museum collaborated with Beyoncé on an album, when she and husband Jay-Z released the video for the song “Apeshit” to promote the couple’s collaborative album. Everything is loveMuch of the music video was filmed at the institution; the video includes highlights from many of the museum’s collections. The museum’s website still offers a self-guided tour of highlights from the “Apeshit” video.

    Art News The Louvre has been contacted for official comment on Jenner’s visit, confirmation of the time of the visit, and official policy on visitors wearing shoes.
