    The cast of the new movie “The Gallerist” has been confirmed

    MRC will independently finance galleristthe new film from Cathy Yan, starring the previously announced Natalie Portman and Jenna Ortega.

    The company also officially confirmed the film’s remaining cast today, which includes Academy Award winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph (something to keep), Emmy Award winner Sterling K. Brown (American novel), Emmy nominee Zach Galifianakis (Only murders in the building), Golden Globe nominee Daniel Brühl (franchise), Grammy nominee Charli xcx (i want your sex), and Oscar and Tony Award winner Catherine Zeta-Jones (Wednesday).

    Author: Yan (raptor) and James Pederson (high fever), the film tells the story of a desperate gallerist who plots to sell a corpse at Art Basel in Miami. It will be produced by Ash Sarohia (hours, Refreshing) and Jonathan King (green paper, spotlight) from Concordia Studios; Sophie Maas from MountainA and Portman (May December, angel city); Tom McCarthy (spotlight, Won, won) and Ray Barron (Still water, alaska daily) from Slow Horse; and Zora Elgart Glassmann (high fever, alone together). The film is currently in the pre-production stage and is expected to start shooting at the end of this year.

    Currently, the MRC is preparing Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heightsstarring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi. Recently, the indie studio announced its romantic drama all of youStarring Brett Goldstein and Imogen Poots, it will premiere on Apple TV+ in 2025. The company’s notable works for 2023 include saltburn, American noveland fair play.

    Randolph is represented by CAA and Fox Rothschild; Brown is represented by JWM Entertainment Group, CAA and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole; Galifianakis is produced by UTA, Brillstein Entertainment Partners and Yorn, Levine, Barnes; Gersh Brühl; CAA’s Charli XCX; and UTA’s Zeta Jones. CAA Media Finance brokered the financing agreement with MRC.
